A smoothie blend produced right here in Aotearoa. The perfect brand partnership. A custom designed, developed and integrated eCommerce solution for an extensive product range needing our ongoing support with marketing implementation and reporting. We're extremely proud of our ongoing relationship with Miraka.

the brief

Dairy giant Miraka based in Taupo, approached us initially in 2017 with the story of Whaiora, a new-to-market premium smoothie blend. The Whaiora brand team wanted to tell the story through a website that highlighted each individual ingredient and the goodness that was crafted into each "can". The key vision - a socially integrated campaign that would drive both interaction and loyalty. Alongside the website was the need for a marketing strategy and conscious implementation including automation, email marketing, PPC advertising, social media support, dashboard creation and remarketing.

the solution

We created an eCommerce store that had warehouse fulfillment capabilities made possible through our custom integration with Microsoft Dynamics. The design of this was driven from Whaiora's creative agency partner; Legend. We've loved collaborating with this team to bring the vision to life and add our own expertise in terms of user experience, marketing and interaction. With the product launched our next job was ongoing marketing support in the form of search, automation and analytical reporting. We continue to provide eCommerce strategy and assist with the ongoing global strategy. Watch this space and taste that Smoothie!

For Whaiora building a loyal and engaged following has been the focus. Their particularly niche and savvy audience of lifestylers connect with brands for the long term. Through global marketing across multiple channels, we've built dedicated followers and regular shoppers of this now internationally successful brand. Email marketing in the form of content-rich updates and automated communications to capture abandoned carts or reward loyal shoppers has seen great success in encouraging repeat purchasers.

Firebrand were instrumental in helping us to build the website for our consumer brand, Whaiora, which included an eCommerce platform. They went outside of the scope in just developing a functioning platform, and added value to our launch and marketing strategy as well as assisting with coordination of our supply chain functions to help ensure a smooth launch for our brand.
